Gabi's Big Redemption?
Going off how many fans there still are of this track I would say not. I get this series is just a work of fiction which why some people claim they don't emotionally invest in characters the same way as they would if they were real people. Nonetheless I still find it disturbing how much hate and lack of empathy there is for Gabi as a character out there. The way people take sides even to the point where Eren can do no wrong despite committing global genocide speaks to me in it's own way about the underlying messages about humanity in this series. The way we can identify and side with one group of people or individual over another even when obvious parallels and similarities between those groups or individuals are pointed out demonstrates how lost in the woods were truly are as a species. |
