Of course, we are talking about physical stores. On-line stores, not sure who/what the biggest anime store official products wise.

It's likely no one held the record before. This kind of "world records" are more often than not, elaborate marketing campaigns. Sometimes Guinness even acts as a consultant to corporations by helping them come up with a "world record" that can be used to promote the brand |
