Jujutsu Kaisen and Hyakkano interacting in interesting ways.

The bouquet toss and Hakari Retrieval Arc setup gives Hyakkano its second-lowest-ranking episode yet. Curious to see how episode 10 will rank -- probably won't top the pool episode's #3 ranking, with The Apothecary Diaries hitting a climax in its next episode too.

So I'm following 5 of the top 6 (and may yet go back and get caught up on the 6th), but I'm also watching 5 of the bottom 7. Not sure what that says about me.

Well, nothing necessarily wrong with stuff near the bottom this season as the number of good shows near the top tends to skew the distribution downward. I myself frequently have one or two near the bottom each season that I like. This season, I like things from top to below bottom. Freiren and Dr Stone to Shangra-La and Shield Hero to Potions and Buteraba. None of them really awful mind you. What that says is that I or we have eclectic taste...

Tearmoon is also pretty low, and I think it’s one of the best shows this season.

Agreed. I am enjoying Diago, Tearmoon, Ragna Crimson and many of the shows well below the 20 mark. Loved the ensemble cast of Dekoboko Majo. A pity that BULLBUSTER is overlooked, it's quite enjoyable.
